Lots and lots of Road Trains here. We had trouble with the extension mirror being blown in every time they passed. Road kill by the hundreds!!
Just out of Longreach a picnic by a pond.
There are 2 things you must do in Longreach.
The 1st is to spend at least 2hrs plus at the QANTAS Founders Museum.
This is dedicated to the birth of QANTAS in 1921
The 2nd is to go on a Mckinnon & Co twilight cruise and film show on the Thomson River.
A magic 4 hrs of entertainment and a good campfire meal
